FlexSight, NiTe and Alitrak joined forces in this project to propose a semi-automated solution for the assembly of complex electromechanical vehicles. Exploiting high-level technological solutions like mixed-reality and collaborative robotics, the system can help and guide human operators during the assembly process. This allows to reduce the effort required to complete the task, while also saving lot of time.
The mixed reality interface provide visual and intuitive feedback to the human all along the assembly process, so that even a newly-employed worker can complete the assembling without any training.
